What is WIC?

WIC is a nutrition program that provides nutrition and health education, healthy food and other services free of charge to Massachusetts families who qualify. WIC stands for Women, Infants and Children, and offers participants "good food and a whole lot more!"

Mission of WIC:

To safeguard the health of low to moderate income pregnant and postpartum women, infants, & children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating, and referrals to health care.
