Stop Hepatitis A and B: Get Vaccinated

To support you, SPHERE has developed a collection of materials for you to use with colleagues and clients. These materials will help you educate about Hepatitis Vaccination, and make referrals for it.

We hope you’ll find use of the following materials:

A flyer you can post in your office/bulletin board
    English
    Spanish
    Portuguese

A brochure you can give to clients and staff
    English
    Spanish
    Portuguese

A listing of places that offer vaccination services for staff to use to make a referral
A cue card for staff on Hepatitis Vaccination
A fact sheet on the Hepatitis A Vaccination, a SPHERE Featured Resource
A fact sheet on the Hepatitis B Vaccination, a SPHERE Featured Resource
Stickers you can wear, put on doors and distribute to clients

What You Can Do:

Start talking with your colleagues and co-workers about designating May as Hepatitis Vaccination Month in your program.

What would this mean?

  • Post flyers and distribute brochures in May about hepatitis vaccination (print and post the attached materials throughout your program, hang in your office, on community bulletin boards, common spaces including reception areas, kitchens and bathrooms);
  • More conversations with clients about Hepatitis vaccination;
  • Increased information in May about where hepatitis vaccination happens in your local community (share the vaccine provider listing with your co-workers for their use);
  • Provide more information on hepatitis vaccination to your co-workers (give them the attached cue cards);
  • Contact your local hepatitis vaccination provider, introduce yourself and your program, find out information you need to make a supported referral; and
  • Help clients get vaccinated (Consider counting how many clients are referred for hepatitis vaccine, and let us know!).
