Inter-CHNA group

The Mission Of The Inter-CHNA is to bring forward the voice of public health in our communities and to broaden the scope and definition of public health by providing support, education and opportunities for networking, as well as building collaboration, problem-solving, influencing policy, finding and developing resources and sharing best practices that aid in promoting CHNA work around health disparities, health equity and social determinants of health.

Members of the Southeastern MA Inter-CHNA include the leadership of six Southeastern MA CHNAs, the Southeast Center for Healthy Communities and the DPH Southeast Regional Public Health Office.

Inter-CHNA is hosting their FIRST Leadership Conference

This conference will be a chance for all six of the southeast CHNA’s to celebrate accomplishments, identify opportunities to collaborate, share best practices, and consider the possibilities for our region.

Inter-CHNA Meetings take place from 2-4pm on the third Thursday of every March, June, September, and December at the Department of Public Health Southeast Regional Health Office located at 1736 Purchase Street, New Bedford, MA.
