Health Care's administrative offices are located in Brockton where its Information
Technology, Human Resources, and Strategic Planning and Communications staff function.
Throughout the state and region, Health Care operates its nearly forty programs out of three
divisions: the Division of Reproductive Health Services; the Division of Family Health Services; and
the Division of Prevention & Community Services.
Division of Reproductive Health Services
Health Care provides comprehensive reproductive health services and community-based sexuality education for families
throughout the southeast region. Health Care is committed to providing confidential,
affordable, and accessible reproductive health services as well as promoting and ensuring health
care rights, based on the unique needs of the individuals and communities it serves.
Division of Family Health Services
The Family Health Services Division
provides family home visiting including parenting education and case management, comprehensive WIC
nutrition services, domestic violence and sexual assault survivor services, adolescent health and
wellness, and smoking cessation.
Division of Prevention & Community Services
The Division of Prevention and Community Services
assists professionals, community residents, and coalitions to conceive, create, deliver, and enhance
services that promote healthy communities, populations, and individuals. Services include coalition and
organizational development, community organizing, education
and training, curriculum and materials development, access to resources and health-related data, and
survey design and analysis, among others. Health promotion education topics include sexuality,
teen pregnancy, HIV, substance abuse, suicide prevention, and other current topics.
Skill building areas include coalition development, policy
development, cultural competence, supporting and
working with gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender youth, and harm reduction.
All education, training and technical assistance services
are customized to meet unique client needs.
While many services are provided to
particular audiences free-of-charge through public funding and private grants, all services are also
available on a fee-for-service basis. The Division of Prevention and Community Services has
worked with client organizations throughout the country.
