Login/Password

Once you register you will receive a login name and password via email.

Online Course Page

Once you have login information, you can log on to the webpage dedicated to your course. This page will include the materials for your class.

Pre-Course Survey

Before you begin the course, you will need to complete a pre-course survey. These are for our own evaluation and teaching purposes, and you will not be “graded” based on your responses. The pre-course survey is located on the course webpage and can be accessed once you have login information.

Coursework

Some of our courses are single session and some are multiple sessions (“multi-session”).  Some may require on-line participation at certain times or by specific deadlines, and others are completely self-directed with students determining when they “attend class”. Coursework may vary as well. You are encouraged to read the descriptions and, where appropriate, the Learners Guides, for individual classes you’re interested in to see specific course expectations.

Homework

For multi-session courses: homework assignments will be completed and submitted on-line directly to your instructor. Once your homework is completed, you can review your completed assignment at any time, but you cannot change it once it is submitted.

CEUs and Homework: Please note that for individuals seeking continuing education units (CEUs), completed homework is mandatory and should be submitted on time.

Deadlines: Deadlines for homework are set by individual classes.  You are encouraged to consult the specific course page you’re interested in to find out the homework process for a particular class.

Individualized Responses: Where appropriate, your instructor will be in contact with you to confirm receipt of your homework, and to respond and comment on your assignments.

Post-Course Survey

At the end of each course, you will need to take a post-course survey. The survey can be accessed from within the course.

Evaluations

Certificates of Completion or CEUs are provided once all homework, pre and post-course surveys and the course evaluation have been completed and submitted. Evaluations are online and their deadlines will vary by class. Please check individual course pages for specific deadlines. All Certificates are provided in PDF format by e-mail to students, unless otherwise requested.
