Young Parents Program

Welcome to the

Blue Hills Young Parents Initiative!

The Young Parents Program (YPI) provides home visiting services to Moms and Dads age 25 and under, with one or more children.

Home Visitors build relationships with families, providing them with information about parenting and child development, and help them connect with other resources in their community.

Home visitors and parents work together to identify family stregnths, needs and goals, and they deveop a service plan that is tailor-made for the child and family.

 

Who is eligible?

All young pregnant and parenting families under the age of 25.

The towns we serve:

Braintree, Cohasset, Hingham, Hull, Milton, Norwell, Quincy, Randolph, Scituate, Weymouth

All referrals are confidential, and services are voluntary and free of charge!


The Young Parents Program can help you to:

  • Find resources in your community
  • Learn about pregnancy and childbirth
  • Learn loving and nurturing ways to care for your baby
  • Learn different ways to discipline your child
  • Find medical care for yourself and your child
  • Feel confident as a parent
