Cape Cod Healthy Families Early Childbearing Program

 

Cape Cod Healthy Families Early Childbearing Program is a weekly home visiting program offering

support and education to pregnant and parenting teens. Healthy Families is for anyone under 21

who is either pregnant or parenting a child who is 12 months or younger, including dads. 

 

Healthy Families can help you:

  • Get pregnancy and childbirth informtaion.
  • Find a doctor.
  • Get breastfeeding information.
  • Lear how to care for a newborn.
  • Feel confident as a parent.
  • Deal with stress.
  • Learn how to discipline.
  • Deal with temper tantrums and potty training.
  • Shop wisely, budget your money, and plan healthy meals.
  • Find community resources to help you with housing, education, job training, and childcare.

 

You must be able to meet weekly with a Home Visitor. If you are a parent, the child must be at the visit.

 

We provide services to all of Cape Cod, Martha's Vinyard, and Nantucket. All services are free and confidential.
