Keynote speaker: Stephanie Patton, MPH, CHES
Southeast Center for Healthy Communites

This day-long training is designed for providers and educators at any level of experience in working with gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth. The only requirement for participation is a commitment to creating safe environments and providing support to GLBTQ youth and their families.

  • Build your skills for supporting GLBTQ youth
  • Connect with others doing similar work
  • Find local resources to support GLBTQ youth and their families
  • Share challenges and successes

Registration is $50/person and includes lunch, materials and Continuing Education Units/Certificates of Attendance.

Department of Social Services employees: Please call Janet Fitzgerald (617) 748-2313 to seek reimbursement for your registration costs.

We have a limited number of scholarships available for participants from Southeastern Massachusetts. Please contact Marisa Howard-Karp (mailto:mhoward-karp@hcsm.org) if you would like more information. These scholarships are generously funded by the Greater Brockton Community Health Network Area.

The GLBT Youth Support Project Mission
To ensure safe and supportive communities for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning (GLBTQ) youth. The GLBT Youth Support Project provides training and on-going support for educators and health and human service providers to assist them in implementing welcoming and appropriate programs, policies, and services for these young people and their families.
