The goal of Project Sticker Shock is to reduce underage drinking by reminding adults it is against the law to purchase alcohol for people under 21.
Project Sticker Shock is an enforcement strategy that targets people over age 21 that purchase alcohol and provide it to minors. Project Sticker Shock consists of young people, with an adult chaperone, placing stickers on multi-packs of alcoholic beverages at liquor stores. The stickers read, “Providing alcohol to a person under 21 is illegal!” This project will engage adults and get them to think twice about providing alcohol to anyone under 21.
If you or your group would like to raise awareness among adults who may be interested in providing alcohol to minors Project Sticker Shock is for you!!
