Womansplace
Crisis Center, a comprehensive program providing services to victims of
domestic violence and sexual assault, is always seeking volunteers for
all aspects of our program. Volunteer opportunities include:

the crisis hotline

Working
at the battered women's shelter

court advocacy

hospital advocacy

and outreach support

Speakers Bureau
The volunteer training is offered twice a year, is free of charge, and includes
the basics of sexual assault and domestic violence, counseling skills,
trauma and its effects, the fundamentals of providing advocacy, and more.
