WHAT DOES THE TERM "SEXUAL ASSAULT" MEAN?
Sexual assault is a broader term that includes rape and other crimes such as molestation, flashing, voyeurism, etc.

WHAT IS RAPE?
Rape is the penetration of a bodily orifice (oral, anal, or vaginal) with a body part (e.g. penis, finger, tongue) or an object through threat or force and without consent.

If something like this has happened to you or a friend...

  • Remember, it's NEVER your fault. No one deserves to be raped or sexually assaulted no matter what the circumstances.
  • Call our 24 hour hotline and find out how we can help you.
  • Seek medical attention for the possibility of injury, STD's and/or preganancy.
  • Find a network of people who believe and support you.
