Description: This training focuses on building provider comfort to start person–centered conversations about HIV risk and risk reduction. The training provides basic information on the content of these conversations and offers participants ample opportunities to increase their own comfort level engaging in these conversations. It explores the ways these conversations support an individual’s interest in making changes to reduce their HIV risk(s) and referrals that can offer enhanced support. Participants will develop strategies for integrating risk assessment conversations and support into the health and human service settings.
